Ingredients
4 cups of Tortilla chips
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup cooked and seasoned meat of choice (optional)
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
2 to 3 tablespoons of chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons of sour cream or guacamole for topping
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange tortilla chips on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the chips.
With a grown-up's help, cook your choice of seasoned ground beef or chicken in a pan. If it's beef, use taco seasoning. For chicken, add 1/8 teaspoon each of cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder.
Sprinkle diced tomatoes on the top.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Top with sour cream, guacamole, and cilantro.
